Supporting Agricultural Shows and Field Days Grants Program
Helping to Ensure the Sustainability of Agricultural Shows
The Australian Government has committed a further $21 million for the Supporting Agricultural Shows and Field Days Program to 30 June 2022. This brings total funding to over $83 million to support the growth and long-term sustainability of these important events.
Agricultural shows, Field Days and Capital City Royal shows impacted by COVID-19 in 2021 are invited to apply for Commonwealth Government’s Supporting Agricultural Shows and Field Days program.
- Small events (up to 1,999 attendees) can apply for grants up to $10,000
- Medium events (2,000 to 4,999 attendees) can apply for grants up to $15,000
- Large events (5,000 attendees and up) can apply for grants up to $70,000
Round Two Now Open
Round 2 of the Supporting Agricultural Shows and Field Days program is now open.
The program will provide operational support for agricultural show societies and organisers of agricultural field days who cancelled events scheduled between 1 January and 31 December 2021 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Applications open: Friday 28 January 2022
Applications close: Thursday 17 February 2022
