Skilled Migrant Employment Program
This fast-track TAFE NSW Statement in English for Employment (800-000357) is offered fee-free to skilled and overseas qualified professionals to prepare them for the Australian job market.
Cost: This course is funded by the NSW Government and delivered by TAFE NSW to eligible participants who meet the entry requirements.
Duration: 2 days a week for 10 weeks
Delivery: The program has 155 hours of online study with one workshop to be delivered online.
Start Date: 13 July 2021 9:00am – 5:00pm
Information Session: 7 July 2021 via MS Teams 10:30am to 11:30am

Course Outcomes:
Students will develop:
- a greater awareness of the Australian workplace culture and trends
- a career portfolio, resume and cover letter
- strategies to identify relevant employment opportunities
- communication skills
Entry Requirements:
- Permanent residency status
- Bridging Visa E, humanitarian and some temporary visas are eligible
- IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
- Overseas professional qualifications (English translation)
