2019 STEMship Shoalhaven
Regional Development Australia – Far South Coast (RDA FSC) is partnering with RDA Hunter, the NSW Department of Industry (Training Services NSW and Defence NSW) and the Shoalhaven Defence Industry Group (SDIG) to bring the STEMship program to the Shoalhaven.

This vocational education and training (VET) pre-employment program was developed by RDA Hunter and focuses on developing STEM skills at a technical level, providing a pathway for students to move into employment at the completion of the course.
The program will include:
- Completion of nationally accredited skills-set
- 17 weeks completing a combination of training and work placement
- An opportunity to gain work placement with the Shoalhaven regions innovative organisations
- Industry site visits to promote awareness of employment pathways
