NSW Regional Youth Taskforce: Applications Open

Applications are now open for the Minister for  NSW Regional Youth Taskforce.

The Regional Youth Taskforce provides an avenue of communication between the children and young people of NSW and the NSW Government. Eighteen children and young people from across the State will be selected for the Taskforce which will have a say on ways the NSW Government can try to improve outcomes for regional youth.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Aged between 12–24 years
  • Live outside Greater Sydney and the local government areas of Newcastle and Wollongong
  • Closing date for submission 5 August 2019.

Two young people will be selected from the Illawarra/Shoalhaven regions and two from the South East and Tablelands.

Applications are particularly sought from children and young people from diverse backgrounds, life experiences and from different locations around the State.

Through this application children and young people will also have an opportunity to put themselves forward for other participatory opportunities for children and young people.
